I think the doctor needs more time with an experienced veterinarian before she attempts to have her own private practice.
I'm sorry to say that I've found that although Dr. Ligon seems well informed as to medical procedures, she has been quite lacking in judgment on communicating about my pets needs in post-op and home care. I have the heartbreaking experience of caring for a very unhealthy companion who became this way during his botched recuperation at the clinic. I was not informed of his condition when he was released to come home.
This is a great place! Everyone is very friendly and loving to all animals. They are nice enough to allow us to call with lots of questions and send pictures of it dog's recent surgery. Would 100% recommend them!
We bought a puppy that was vaccinated there. I called to get a copy of her records so I could sign my pup up for classes, and they said they don't have them and I should check with the breeder. My breeder didn't keep a copy, which makes sense really, so I guess I'll just have to write it down on a post it note and hope that's good enough. Yeah... they should probably keep records. What if something's wrong with the vaccine? They'd have no record of who they gave it to?
We absolutely love Dr. Jessica Ligon. She is such a great doctor and cares endlessly for her patient's animals. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Fantastic, caring services at a fair price!
